St Augustine’s Arts & Events Centre

Stanford avenue, Brighton

St. Augustine’s Arts and Events Centre is a beautiful converted church;
a Gothic-inspired, iconic venue known for its unique charm and versatility.

In the main hall we’ll be hosting tarot and spiritual stalls selling wares from decks to crystals, artisan goods and art and more, as well as live tarot and oracle readers.

In the beautiful Altar Room, we’ll be hosting a number of ticketed workshops and talks on tarot-related themes to make it a day to remember for all levels of tarot and oracle enthusiasts!

There’s a lovely cafe on site which will be serving drinks, food and refreshments through the day.

The venue also has a beautiful garden with tables and trees, that will be available for readings or relaxation, weather permitting.

St Augustine’s is situated in the beautiful coastal city of Brighton, Sussex, a vibrant city on the south coast, with a host of independent shops, pubs, pier and beach, and so much more worth exploring in the local area, all within easy reach of the venue.

Situated near Preston Park, Fiveways and London Road, the venue is well-located. Paid on-street parking is available in the local area, and the venue is around a 20 minute walk from the main Brighton station, or just 5 minutes from London Road Station, and accessible on main bus routes.

Disabled access

The venue is fully accessible for disabled access, and has accessible toilets. The main fayre and talks programme as held in the altar room are fully accessible.

A number of free smaller artist talks will be held in the yoga studio on a higher floor without lift access, so please bear in mind these sessions might not be appropriate for some attendees. These will be seated on the floor rather than having chairs.
